The Azienda agraria Corte di Valle is located on the hills of Chianti Classico. It's a rural village of the Tuscan tradition with the Villa padronale, the mainhouse, the Casa di Caccia, the hunting lodge, the Casa del Bosco, the woodhouse, and the cellar.
The Villa offers a romantic atmosphere while the Casa di Caccia and the Casa del Bosco respect the local style. All rooms are furnished with antique pieces and have a satellite TV, fridge and private bathroom.
A small lake for fishing, the wood for relaxing walks and the swimming pool are at guests' disposal.
1999 saw the completion of the renovation work both on the villa and on the other buildings. Then came the passion of the men who saw to returning the land to its original splendour. The vineyards and the olive grove were put back into production, with the surrounding decoration of the wood and the small lake.
The extra virgin olive oil is produced from the harvesting of the olives from the estate’s 2000 olive trees. The DOCG Chianti wine is produced from the 15 hectares of vineyards, partly overlooking the villa and partly located further away on the other side of the hillside. Both the olive oil and the wine are exclusively for sale directly to the customer.
In 2001, a new passion was born following the chance discovery of a certain type of flower in the villa’s garden. Thus began the production of the Florentine Hills "Saffron", a precious spice which takes us back in time to the 1400’s.
