At the moment there are no offers avalaible. The Castello di Petrata is to be found on a sunny and peaceful plateau 600 metres above sea level and four kilometres from Assisi; it is a detached building dating back to the 1300's with its own, small 18th century church listed by the Ministry of Beni Culturali (Cultural Heritage) as being of historical and architectural value. Completely restructured and elegantly furnished, it is set in a natural context of great charm, right in the Umbrian hillsides.
The Castle contains cosy rooms, each of which having distinguishing characteristics both in its décor and in the arrangement of its furnishings. From all of the rooms, it is possible to throw open the windows and look out over the countryside, breathing in the fragrance of the dew or the chirping of the birds; at the same time, you may enjoy the beautiful panorama which spans from the Basilica of San Francesco to the Albornoziana fortress, from the Park of Mount Subasio to the Umbrian valley and right over to Perugia.
The Country House welcomes its guests for their stay in special harmony with nature with the warmth of a private residence. The restaurant offers the typical dishes of old Umbrian tradition.
Facilities for sport include the swimming pool, mountain bikes and, a few kilometres away, horse riding stables. In addition, the rooms on the ground floor of the Country House make it ideal for holding meeting, seminars, exhibitions and other special events.
The Wellness Center, complet with sauna, Hammam, Jacuzzi, emotional path, Kneipp, relaxation room is for the exclusive use of couples, ensuring maximum privacy and tranquility, and is able to offer guests a feeling of multisensory wellbeing. Massages and treatments to rebalance the body and mind in a truly unique, helped by relaxing herbal teas etc.
